Heather Siegel is a writer, teacher, and creative with interests in the arts, food, and animal welfare. In her past life, she founded several independent businesses, including a coffeehouse, a café, an organic juice bar, and a natural beauty bar. She currently teaches creative and academic writing for local colleges, continuing education programs, and private workshops. She holds an MFA from The New School University, and lives in the woods of Long Island with her family in a farmhouse that always needs something fixed.
